Bugs and weeds! Every gardener hates ‘em. Unfortunately, most of the bug and weed killers out there are full of chemicals that (while killing the aforementioned enemies) are doing who-knows-what to our bodies and planet.

I would love to try these. With Paul working on anti-pesticide stuff we are always trying to find good, alternative products to use.

ReplyDeleteHave you ever tried spraying weeds with vinegar on a sunny day? I add 1 TBSP table salt to 1 qt vinegar and spray my danelions early on a sunny day. It works!

I would love to try the plant and garden value bundle. This year I'm a new gardener and have been trying to figure out how to keep the pests at bay. I'd like to give this a try. Maybe this year my green beans will produce more without slugs!

ReplyDeleteI'd love to try the Safe Plant and Garden bundle. I use all non toxics around my vegetable garden but still use a small amount of Round Up and pesticides away from it once a year. I'd like to try alternatives for those also.

ReplyDeleteAll of them look great but I think I would get the most use out of the Safe plant and garden value bundle. I am going to seek out the insect repellent regardless with all of the rain we got this year we have plenty of mosquitoes.
